Shoah Victims Urge Nigel Farage to Make Amends Over Alleged Anti-Jewish Statements.

A collective of Holocaust survivors has called for that Nigel Farage be honest and apologise for reported anti-Jewish abuse he reportedly directed toward Jewish students during his youth.

The Reform UK leader has claimed he never racially abused anyone with deliberate cruelty, framing it may have been mere "schoolyard talk".

"It is crucial to understand: expressing admiration for Hitler, mimicking gas chambers, or shouting racist insults is not teasing. Not in a playground. Not anywhere."

The correspondence asks direct questions to the political figure: "Is it true you said ‘Hitler was right’ and ‘gas them,’ while mimicking gas chambers? Did you target your classmates to anti-Jewish taunts?"

The Survivors

The collective of eleven survivors includes individuals with devastating personal experiences from the Nazi genocide.

• Hedi Argent, who lost 27 members of her immediate and extended family.
• Simon Winston, who was held in a ghetto before fleeing in 1942 and spending the rest of the war as a fugitive.
• Anita Lasker-Wallfisch, who was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau and later transferred to Bergen-Belsen, where she was rescued.

Other signatories include Janine Webber, Edith Jayne, Helen Aronson, Ruth Barnett, John Fieldsend, Susan Pollack, Hanneke Dye and Agnes Kaposi.

This action is a response to the rejection of related testimony by more than two dozen or more ex-schoolmates and teachers as "fabricated nonsense" by a deputy leader.

Since the initial report, further individuals from that era have shared their stories. Nearly thirty former pupils and teachers now state they observed racist or antisemitic behaviour by him.
